New results on Abell 963 and MG1131+0456

1992
Two well-known gravitational lensing events are here examined: the two giant arcs in Abell 963 and the radio ring MG 1131+0456. For the first case, the results obtained by numerical model are explained. There is at least three times more non-luminous mass than luminous one acting as lensing matter. The source seems to be a dwarf galaxy spiral or an irregular.
