RESUMO : Estudo das dimensoes simbolica e historica da representacao do feminino na obra Toda a America (1926), de Ronald de Carvalho, de modo a reconhecer e caracterizar, nos poemas que a integram, a construcao de imagens relacionadas a cinco representacoes simbolicas arquetipicas: a sexualidade, a fecundacao, a fundacao, a clivagem e a misoginia, evidenciando as relacoes de poder a elas subjacentes. A abordagem critica feminista se sustenta no pensamento de Bourdieu e de Beauvoir, alem de estabelecer paralelos com o genero epico, a luz de Silva e Ramalho. PALAVRAS-CHAVE : Toda a America . ABSTRACT : Study of the symbolic and historical dimensions of the representation of the feminine in Toda a America (1926), by Ronald de Carvalho, in order to recognize and characterize, in the poems that integrate it, the construction of images related to five archetypal symbolic representations:  the sexuality, the fertilization, the foundation, the cleavage and the misogyny, evidencing the relations of power that are underlying. The feminist critical approach is based on the thinking of Bourdieu and Beauvoir, and as well as establishes parallels with the epic genre in the light of Silva and Ramalho.
