The first motor is used for driving the rotary disc to rotate, the electric cylinder stands on the rotary disc and comprises a piston and a third motor, the compression transverse rod is connected with the piston and is of a stretchable structure, the second motor is used for driving the compression transverse rod to be stretched, the compression head is fixed to the free end of the compression transverse rod, and the control system comprises a camera, a single-chip microcomputer, three motor drivers, an infrared ray transmitter and an infrared ray receiver. The femoral artery compressor and the control method have the advantages that automatic compression on a femoral artery puncture point is achieved, and the proper intensity of compression on a patient is achieved.
