Synthesis and Stereoisomer Separation of Difluoro(2,2)paracyclophane.

Abstract Difluoro[2,2]paracylophane was synthesized by 1,6-Hofmann elimination of 2-fluoro-4-methylbenzyltrimethyl ammonium hydroxide in 34% yield, and four stereoisomers were separated by TLC and HPLC techniques.
