A Virtual Experiment Platform for Principles of Digital Communication

The principles of digital communication course is an important professional course. Experiments are an important part of the course study. The traditional experiment mode using experiment box can't meet the student's experimental needs. This paper designs and implements a virtual experimental platform. The platform provides users with an online experiment environment by means of componentizing digital communication functions and algorithms. Students can select the required algorithm components in the platform and build experiment flow. The platform automatically parses the experimental flow and assigns it to the server for execution. The experimental results are displayed in a virtual oscilloscope in the browser. The virtual experiment platform can meet all experimental requirements of the principles of digital communication course and is more convenient for teachers and students.
