New protein fusion and their application for the preparation of vaccines against hepatitis c

2008
The present invention relates to an immunogenic fusion protein comprising at least the C-terminal side, a first peptide consisting of the S protein deleted of its transmembrane domain located at the N-terminus of an isolate of Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), and the N-terminal side, a second peptide consists of the transmembrane domain and the ectodomain at least one envelope protein of an isolate of hepatitis C virus (HCV). The invention also relates to a hybrid nucleic acid molecule of said fusion protein encoding, and a vector comprising said nucleic acid molecule hybridizes, in a viral particle comprising said fusion protein, an immunogenic composition comprising at least said fusion protein or said at least one molecule of hybrid nucleic acids, or at least said sub-viral particle, and a cell line for the production of said fusion protein or said nucleic acid molecule hybridizes, or said subviral particle.
