Critical Determinants for Mobile Commerce Adoption in Vietnamese SMEs: A Conceptual Framework

Abstract This paper presents a conceptual framework for investigating the critical determinants for mobile commerce (m-commerce) adoption in Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The proposed framework is developed from a comprehensive review of the related literature on organizational m-commerce adoption research. Within this proposed framework, the current patterns of m-commerce adoption in Vietnamese SMEs can be analyzed, the critical determinants for m-commerce adoption in Vietnamese SMEs can be identified, and specific suggestions for improving the m-commerce adoption in Vietnamese SMEs can be discussed. The proposed framework contributes to better understanding of the m-commerce adoption in SMEs, particularly in the context of developing countries.
