Enhancing the Learning of Cryptography Through Concept Maps.

This paper proposes an approach of teaching centered on students which emphasizes the creative and effective use of technology. This approach meets students learning objectives using concept maps and shows how they can be used as an instructional tool to enhance the learning of Cryptography. The use of concept maps allows students to acquire a set of key mathematical competencies, such as representing mathematical entities, manipulating symbols and formalisms, and communicate in, with, and about mathematics.
