Endorsements of Surgeon Punishment and Patient Compensation in Rested and Sleep-Restricted Individuals

This study assesses evidence that healthy adults who are deprived of sleep endorse larger punishments for surgeons who make medical errors and uses this information to conclude that malpractice lawsuits are provoked by patient sleep deprivation.
