Study on acrylate copolymer emulsion for waterproof materials in building

The preparation of the copolymer-emulsion of AA/BA/VAc/NMA was introduced,which can be used for bonding matrix of the stretchy putty in building,waterproof lacquer and waterproof coatings.Its had the excellences such as anti-aging,waterproof,alkaline-resistant,stabilization of calcium ion,high contents of pigment/filler(PVC) and low cost.Its elongation at break reached 360%,the tensile strength attained 2.2 MPa.It could also directly confect polymer cement,and final product has good elasticity,no chap,no saponification,easy to mixing.Especially suit for the preparation of stretchy waterproof roll,as the substitute of easy-aging material like SBS,SBR,VAE and so on.
