Method and apparatus for pressure swing adsorption

The invention relates to a pressure swing adsorption apparatus comprising at least two filled with an adsorbent bed of solids containers that are interconnected by means of a corresponding line mimic, wherein at least one is provided to the bed of solids containers downstream sensor for measuring the purity of the product, that the solid bed vessel with switching time controllable inlet , outlet and purge valves are provided, and that an electronic control is provided which is communicatively connected to the sensor and the controllable valves and controls with regard to their switching times and duration depends on at least the response of the purity sensor.
