The utility model relates to a local discharging ultrahigh frequency online fault positioning device for a gas insulation transformer station, comprising a signal pickup device, a signal transmission channel and a signal processing device. The signal pickup device adopts two ultrahigh frequency sensors. The signal transmission channel adopts two double shielding high frequency transmission lines whose lengths are equal. Both ends of the transmission line are connected with the signal pickup device and the signal processing device through a high frequency cable head. The signal processing device comprises an oscilloscope, a GPIB card and a computer. The signal reaches the oscilloscope through the transmission channel. The oscilloscope and the computer are connected through the GPIB card. The entire positioning device has better anti-electromagnetic interference ability and positioning accuracy by reasonably selecting the working frequency. The entire positioning device singly exists disengaging the GIS. A signal receiving device can freely move, which can decrease the quantity of the sensors.
