An Effective Dual Copper‐ and Sulfide‐Catalytic System for the Epoxidation of Aldehydes with Phenyldiazomethane

Homoscorpionate ligands, with organic sulfides as cocatalyst, promote the reaction of phenyldiazomethane (II) with aldehydes (I) to form epoxides (III), with activities exceeding or, at least similar to those of reported rhodium-based systems.
