Проблемы эффективности правового регулирования и реализации санкционных отношений

The paper examines problems concerning the efficiency of the legal regulation and implementation of sanctions relations based on the legalistic method, analysis and synthesis. The subject of the study is the social relationships that develop when international sanctions of an economic and diplomatic nature are imposed and implemented in accordance with the international law as well as relationships associated with the rights protection in applying the above restrictions. The purpose of the work was to identify problems of the legal regulation and implementation of sanctions relations and prevent violations of the rights and interests of citizens as well as restrictions in the main spheres of the world economy affecting the interests of a number of states. It is concluded that in order to optimize the legal regulation and implementation of sanctions relations an international act should be adopted, namely a UN Security Council resolution “On General Issues Related to the Application of International Sanctions”, to regulate issues of the legitimacy of imposing unilateral sanctions by national legislations of the UN member states.
