A Realistic Mathematical Approach for Academic Feedback Analysis System

2020
Students’ feedback in learning process has been proven to increase learning and improve student outcomes. Feedback gives a message to the students that the teacher cares about their opinions. On the other hand, teachers receive feedback from students. From the feedback, teachers can understand quality of their teaching skills based on various parameters. In order to achieve this, analysis of feedback is important. A number of methods and techniques have been developed in recent time for feedback analysis. Different techniques and methodologies are discussed in the literature review. From the research gaps found in literature survey, a distinct mathematical model is proposed and implemented to get more realistic feedback. The implemented approach is bi-directional where teacher’s opinions about students are also considered. The realistic feedback model is analysed for various conclusions. The mathematical model tries to improve the gaps in traditional feedback system, and get more conclusive, more realistic and more concrete feedback for more clarity.
