PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing terpene lactones is provided to treat brain function disorder and to enhance cognitive power. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating ADHD contains terpene lacones. The composition additionally contains ginsenoside Rg3. The terpene lactones are bilobalide, ginkgolide A, ginkgolide B, or ginkgolide C. The pharmaceutical composition contains terpene lactones-enhanced ginkgo leaf extract. The ginkgo leaf extract contains 6-18 weight% of terpene lactones and 20-30 weight% of ginkgo flavone glycoside.
