ESPAÇO URBANO E POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS: UMA ABORDAGEM GEOGRÁFICA SOBRE A CIDADE DE JUAZEIRO DO NORTE/CE 1

This paper aims to analyze the urban space in media cities in the state of the Ceara, specifically in the city of Juazeiro do Norte, at the region of the Cariri, its focusing the implantation of public political propose by public power for the growth of this city and the resolution of problems why the city passes currently. It will be made an analysis that explores the current historical context of the city, relating them with the processes and space dynamic that it has resulted great functional and structural changes in the urban space. The analysis of public acts and field studies were very important for debate about implementations of public politics at city of Juazeiro do Norte, therefore, in recent years, this city has had fast growth, its generating problems in the intra-urban space and affecting citizens.
