Implantação da área experimental em sistemas agroflorestais no campus da UFU-Monte Carmelo: erros e acertos na construção do conhecimento agroecológico

The present report it is experiences experienced during deployment and conduct of an experimentalarea in Agroforestry (SAF) on the campus of Monte Carmelo, the Federal University ofUberlandia. The implementation and maintenance of this area took place from the core work ofAgroecological Cerrado Mineiro-NACEM. The first interventions occurred in September 2015.The implementation of the SAF began with the cultivation of annuals and coverage, which wasin its infancy because of the difficulties of conducting an experimental area in a campus with infrastructureshort of favorable conditions. However, interventions in rainy season of 2016/2017allowed the system to move forward, especially with the insertion of tree species. Currently theSAF area stands out in the landscape of campus and have fulfilling your role of experimentalarea, creating opportunities for family farmers, students and teachers, joint learning and perpetuatingthe precepts of Agroecology.
