Establishment of Competitive Advantage of Large Construction Enterprises and Relevant Empirical Research

Large scale construction enterprises should keep competitive advantage to maintain sustainable development. Through the analysis and integration of the relevant theory about competitive advantage, this paper points out that the key to keep competitive advantage is the distribution ratio of resources. This paper also chooses 47 large scale construction enterprises in Jiangsu province as the observation object to look into, and does empirical work from these aspects: the number of persons engaged, assets, and total power of machinery and equipment owned, by the help of DEA method. On this basis, according to observation on the leading construction enterprises of some industries, this paper makes some suggestion on resources distribution, and states further that strategy management is the crucial factor for enterprises to achieve a rational resource allocation.
