Caractérisation thermodynamique de la cristallinité du footballène C60

A study of footballene C 60 by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) shows that the enthalpy increment at the solid-solid phase transition at 257 K depends on the history of the samples. In particular, it increases when C 60 has undergone a thermal treatment which improves the degree of crystallinity. It is proposed that DSC be used to quantify the crystallinity of fullerenes
