Modeling of Groundwater Flow in Karst Aquifers for Mine Water Control
2021
Groundwater modeling, based on realistic conceptual site models, is a powerful tool for solving groundwater related problems resulting from both mining operation and mine closure. Modeling applications for mine water control requires that specific features of groundwater flow in the environment disturbed by mining activities be reflected in the analytical or numerical models.
