ANÁLISE ESPAÇO - TEMPORAL DA CONCENTRAÇÃO DE OZÔNIO NA REGIÃO NORTE DA CIDADE DE SÃO PAULO

2017
Ozone is a gas that is found naturally in the stratosphere, composing the layer that protects the planet Earth from the intensity of ultraviolet (UV) rays. However, when this gas is found in the troposphere and at levels higher than allowed by environmental monitoring bodies, it causes damage to the environment and public health. This research presents information resulting from the data obtained by the monitoring stations of the Environmental Company of the State of Sao Paulo - CETESB and complementary data of the Emergency Management Center - CGE and the National Institute of Meteorology - INMET in order to perform a space-temporal evolution analysis of this pollutant between the summer and winter periods of the years 2013 to 2015, in the northern area of the city of Sao Paulo, highlighting the Santana district, due to its urban density in recent years.
