The material is made comprising the following components parts by weight: 80-85 parts polypropylene, maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene 2.0 to 3.0 parts, 13 to 17 parts of glass fibers, 0.5 to 1.5 parts coupling agent, antioxidant compound 0.75 to 1.25 parts agent, 0.5 to 0.8 parts of lubricant, 0.1 to 0.3 parts by metal deactivators. The present invention also discloses a method of preparing a long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material and said long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material uses as a drum washing machine tub. The present invention is made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene material to ensure excellent boiling resistance, high thermal oxidation resistance, while having good mechanical properties, suitable for washing machine drum material.
