Realizing Whole Process Traceability Management of High-Value Consumables by Using International Standard Bar Code

This paper summarizes the general situation and existing problems of high-value consumables management in Fuzhou General Hospital,and makes a brief introduction to the two international standard bar code encoding schemes GS1 and HIBC.The hospital established the consumables information base by introducing the international standard coding system,to achieve high-value consumables full traceability management.This paper also concludes some experience and view during project implementation.
