Сравнительная оценка результатов комбинированных вмешательств и факоэмульсификации у больных с сочетанием катаракты и открытоугольной глаукомы

Basing on the examination and treatment results of 169 patients (201 eye) a comparative assessment of the results of phacoemulsification with IOL implantation together with penetrating and non-penetrating glaucoma procedures, as well as without antiglaucomatous component. The result analysis showed that phacotrabeculectomy does not have any advantages of phacoemulsification with non-penetrating procedureupon condition of timely laser goniopuncture. At the same time, visual recovery afterphacotrabeculectomy takes a longer time, and the complication rate is higher. Same as combined procedures, phacoemulsification without antiglaucomatous component, but using modern hypotensive medications ensures significant and stable IOP decrease and could be considered as a procedure of choice in patients with different glaucoma stages.
