PS8 - 43. Short-term Topiramate treatment in obese insulin resistant women does not improve insulin secretion and sensitivity
2011
Long-term treatment with Topiramate reduces body weight and improves serum lipids and insulin sensitivity in obese humans. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of short-term, low-dose Topiramate treatment on insulin secretion and sensitivity, independent of weight loss, in obese insulin resistant women.
