The Application of Singular Value Decomposition to Electric Field Propagation

Abstract We demonstrate that the singular value decomposition algorithm can be combined with the fast Fourier transform or finite difference procedures to generate straightforward and accurate one-way Helmholtz equation electric field propagation methods.
