Plant yield control related gene and applications thereof

The present invention discloses a plant yield control related gene and applications thereof. The plant yield control related gene encodes the plant seed character related protein of a) or b), wherein a) is protein comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID No.2, and b) is protein obtained by carrying out substitution and/or deletion and/or addition of one or a plurality of amino acids on the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2 and is protein related to the seed plant grain weight and/or grain growth and/or grain width. According to the present invention, the expression of the plant seed character related protein can be controlled so as to obtain the transgene seed plant having the required seed grain size.
