Nanostructured aluminum-matrix composite materials with controlled reactivity, modified by carbon and transition metals
2018
Abstract Two types of materials with a controlled reactivity (MCR) with fundamentally different mechanisms of interaction with the model drilling fluid were obtain and study. Structure, phase composition and reactivity of different MCR were study as a function of carbon and transition metals (Zn, Ni, Mn) concentration. It was found, that MCR based on aluminum-magnesium alloys, modified by transition metals, demonstrate more promising functional properties than carbide analogs, which require further study of their composition and preparation methods. © 2018 Elsevier Ltd.
