Microwave‐Promoted “One‐Pot” Synthesis of 4‐Nitrobenzylthioinosine Analogues Using Thiourea as a Sulfur Precursor

A rapid and operationally simple method for the synthesis of various C-6 alkylthiosubstituted purine nucleosides is developed which acts under microwave irradiation and without any metal catalyst.
