ELECTROPHORETIC CHARACTERIZATION OF EUCALYPT MYCORRHIZAS

Summary Disc electrophoresis of extracts from mycorrhizas synthesized with different eucalypts, produces similar protein patterns when the same fungal symbiont is involved. Consequently, where sufficiently large homogeneous clusters of mycorrhizas can be collected, the technique is a valuable adjunct to anatomical classification of naturally occurring mycorrhizas.
