A Study on Issues and Challenges Faced By Girls in Joining Sports and Proposed Solutions

In today’s world where activities requiring physical involvement such as sports and the importance of it for the greater well-being and human health is stressed upon, sports education which is now being considered as equally important as academics, still remains a lesser trespassed territory for girl students especially in remote areas. For too long, sports has been dominated by men which is changing gradually owing to various government schemes and non-governmental organizations taking it up as their vision to bring a change in the sports field. Contributions have also been made because of various CSR activities that are conducted by corporate companies though there is still a long way to go.
