Thyristor-capacitor voltage regulator of high-voltage pulse generator

This paper presents a new thyristor-capacitor voltage regulator for a high-voltage pulse generator used in electrophysical installations based on different high-power vacuum electron devices. A thyristor-capacitor voltage regulator enables one to reduce the power intensity of storage capacitors that enter it. Expressions for calculating the parameters of components of the power supply are developed and results of simulation models of the power supply are reported.
