Macrofitobentos del sublitoral somero del municipio Playa, La Habana, Cuba/Macrophytobenthos of the shallow sublittoral at Playa, La Habana, Cuba

Se presenta el inventario taxonomico actualizado del macrofitobentos de la zona litoral somera del municipio Playa, La Habana, Cuba. Se realizaron recolectas mensuales en cinco sitios con diferente grado de afectacion antropica entre los anos 2011 y 2014. Se muestreo en la zona sublitoral hasta 2 m de profundidad, mediante buceo en apnea. Fueron incluidas las especies del area de estudio citadas con anterioridad en la literatura, considerando solamente las encontradas hasta 5 m. En los muestreos, se registraron 50 taxones infragenericos de macroalgas. Se identifico un nuevo registro para la zona noroccidental de la plataforma cubana: Trichogloeopsis pedicellata (M. Howe) I. A Abbott & Doty. El sitio La Francesita, acumulo el mayor numero de taxones, el cual posee un nivel intermedio de enriquecimiento por nutrientes. El sitio que menor numero de especies presento fue Calle 170, aledano al rio Quibu, altamente contaminado. Al incluir las especies registradas por la literatura para la zona se alcanzo un total de 194 taxones: 90 Rhodophyta, 31 Heterokontophyta, 68 Chlorophyta, cuatro Magnoliophyta y una Cyanobacteria. Abstract The taxonomic inventory of macrophytobenthos at the shallow littoral zone of Playa municipality, Havana, Cuba, is presented. Monthly samplings were done at five sites with different levels of anthropization, between 2011 and 2014. Sublittoral zone was sampled up to 2 m deep, with apnea-diving. Species found in the scientific literature for the study area up to 5 m deep, were included. In samplings, 50 infrageneric taxa were found. A new record for the northwestern zone of the Cuban shelf was identified: Trichogloeopsis pedicellata (M. Howe) I. A. Abbott & Doty. The Francesita site accumulates the highest value of taxa; this site has an intermediate level of nutrients enrichment. The site that has the lowest number of species was Calle 170, near the very contaminated Quibu River.
