A method of operating a program-controlled computing unit for the control of array antennas in particular of thermoforming machines
1995
The operating process is used for the rapid and centrally program-controlled modulation of the heating power of a plurality of heat radiators (1...16) connected together to form a radiator bank (Fig. 1, S). There is a central power control table (Fig. 6) which contains sequences of ON ("1") and/or OFF commands ("0") structured, especially in columns, in such a way that a predetermined heating power (1 %, 2 %, ..., 99 %, 100 %) can be generated in a modulated manner by their successive and cyclic connection to a heat radiator. The appropriate sequence (Fig. 6 "Column") of ON and OFF switching commands ("1", "0") is allocated from the central power control table to each radiator in accordance with the radiator setting and an ON and/or OFF command is issued from the relevant sequence of the central power control table per working step (Fig. 6 "Switching step" 1 ... 100) for each radiator from the program-controlled computer device.
