Muon spin relaxation measurements of LiV2O4

Abstract We report low-temperature (20 mK-5 K) muon spin relaxation (μSR) measurements of the geometrically spin-frustrated LiV 2 O 4 . We find that the spin dynamics of the ground state are very sensitive to magnetic impurities of the specimens. We discuss the similarities of the ground state with spin glasses.
