Effect of SO2 fumigation on growth and nodulation of Vigna mungo

Vigna mungo was fumigated 2 h/day with SO 2 − at 0.25 ppm and 1 ppm. Lateral spread, plant height, number of leaves and total leaf area, RGR, LAR and root/shoot ratio due to SO 2 pollution were inhibited.
