A method of determining a sheet aspherization for ophthalmic lens

The invention relates to a method of determining a web aspherization for an ophthalmic lens for a wearer for whom a power and an astigmatism has been prescribed. The method can be applied equally to a unifocal or multifocal lens. The invention further extends to method for determining an ophthalmic lens from a web aspherization obtained by the method. The invention improves the optical performance of the lenses obtained from semi-finished lenses of which the complex surface is unknown.
