A method of signal processing, particularly in a high frequency receiver and signal conditioning circuit

2004
In a method for signal processing a first signal path (6) is provided with adjustable amplification factor of an amplifier (64) and a second signal path (7) with an amplifier (74). A signal is applied to the first and the second signal path (6, 7) and amplifies the first signal path (6) and demodulated. Simultaneously, the signal in the second signal path (7) is amplified by an amplification factor, and determines a power of the amplified signal path through the second signal. This power is used to determine the gain. Thus, a signal conditioning circuit includes a first and second signal path (6, 7) and a first and a second operating state. In the first operating state the first signal path (6) for amplifying and for demodulating the second signal path (7) for amplifying for determining a power of the applied signal is formed. In the second operational state one of the two signal paths is inaktiiv and the other designed for demodulation of the incoming signal.
