The invention relates to a road pavement paving material, belongs to the road material manufacturing field, and especially relates to a silicon natural mineral asphalt mixture with gap gradation and a preparation method thereof. The asphalt mixture provided by the invention comprises modified asphalt, a stabilizing agent and an aggregate, wherein the stabilizing agent is made from silicon organic active mineral; the weight of the modified asphalt accounts for 5.0-6.0% the weight of the aggregate; and the mixing amount of the stabilizing agent accounts for 0.2-0.4% the weight of the modified asphalt. The preparation method of the mixture comprises the following steps of: 1) adding the modified asphalt which is weighed according to the weight of the aggregate into a small asphalt mixing device for heating, and slowly pouring the stabilizing agent into the modified asphalt to prepare the asphalt mixture; 2) heating the aggregate prepared according to gradation and conveying the aggregate to a mix plant; 3) pumping the stirred asphalt mixture obtained from Step 1) according to the ratio of the mixture to the mix plant, stirring and mixing to prepare the asphalt mixture.
