BIOGEOCHEMICAL EXPLORATION FOR GOLD ORE DEPOSIT IN THICK FOREST REGION OF NORTHERN MIANLUE, SHAANXI

2002
The biogeochemical exploration for gold ore deposit had been carried out in the northern region of Mianlue, covered by the thick forest, which locate in the Qinling mountain of Shaanxi Province. We analysised the twig samples of Quercus aliena, coriaria, sinica, pinus armandii, Elaeagnus umbellate, etc, and found out that the near profiles show the obviously gold biogeochemical anomalies .By comparing the biogeochemical anomalies and soil chemical anomalies, we found that they are similar in some way. However, the biogeochemical exploration can provide more geochemical information of mineralizing rock in the depth, which is more effective than soil geochemical exploration.
