Method for correcting the malfunction of inkjet elements in a printing system, comprising the steps of (a) obtaining a standard printmask; (B) assigning at least two ejection elements a probability that each of said two elements inkjet work properly; (D) attempting to modify the standard printmask by replacing elements inkjet having a certain probability to work properly with different elements inkjet are more likely to work properly, to create a mask customized printing.
