The invention provides an electronic display screen and a method for realizing automatic screen splicing. The electronic display screen comprises a short-distance network (SDN) communication module, a sensor and a relative position calculation module, wherein the SDN communication module comprises four SDN chips arranged at four corners of the electronic display screen; when the SDN chips construct communicate connection with with the SDN chips of another electronic display screen, information for constructing the communication connection is sent to the relative position calculation module; the sensor is used for detecting a direction pointed by the front surface of the electronic display screen and sending the direction to the relative position calculation module; the relative position calculation module is used for determining that the electronic display screen is spliced with the other electronic display screen when two of the SDN chips on the same side of the electronic display screen respectively construct communicate connection with with the two SDN chips on the same side of the other electronic display screen, and the front surfaces of the electronic display screen and the other electronic display screen point towards the same direction. According to the electronic display screen and the method, the phenomenon of staggered splicing between the electronic display screens can be avoided.
