Impulsive grounding systems embedded in concrete: Theoretical and practical experiments
2016
This paper presents a systematic study of impulsive grounding systems embedded in concrete. Several topologies used in transmission and distribution networks as well as in industrial plants were evaluated considering soils with different properties. Case study analysis using the Alternative Transients Program (ATP) and real life measurements in scaled configurations were carried out. The aim of this work is to present a contribution with respect to performance assessment of most used grounding system types embedded in concrete.
