The negative oxygen ion protection mask comprises mask cloth, a filter core and an electricity storage device. The filter core internally comprises a control circuit and a negative oxygen ion generator. The control circuit is used for controlling the negative oxygen ion generator which is located in the interlayer of the filter core. The electricity storage device supplies power to the filter core. Pores of the filter core are smaller than 0.5 micrometer. The negative oxygen ion protection mask can prevent PM2.5 and can effectively purify air in the mask; meanwhile, viruses and bacteria in air are inactivated, and respiratory tract disease infection is prevented.
