The Calculation on the Lethal Area of Blast-fragmentation Warhead

Based on the flying and distributing character of the warhead fragments in the air,the lethality of the blast-fragment warhead is calculated.The contours of the lethal probability and the distributing density of the fragments are protracted and the values of lethal areas in different falling angles and exploding heights are obtained.The results show that different falling angle has a peak value of the lethal area and the maximum of lethal area is reduced with the decrease of falling angle.
