Indenter for indoor freeze thawing test

2012
The present invention relates to an indenter for an indoor freeze thawing test. The indenter is divided into two parts of an upper indenter and a lower indenter, wherein the upper indenter and the lower indenter respectively comprise an upper cover plate and a lower cover plate, the cover plate is engraved with a circular groove, and the circular groove is communicated with the outside through temperature control holes, such that a cooling liquid generated by an external refrigeration device can be circulated inside the indenter so as to achieve indenter temperature control. Sealing rings are arranged between the upper cover plates and the lower cover plates, and the upper cover plate and the lower cover plate are connected into integration through fixation bolts so as to ensure integrity and tightness of the indenter. Water replenishment holes are adopted to connect a space between an outside water source and a supporting rib, wherein a multi-hole plate is placed on the supporting rib, such that water imported from the outside can contact soil through holes on the multi-hole plate, and an indenter temperature can be transmitted to the soil in time by using good thermal conductivity of a metal. With the present invention, accurate control of a temperature condition and a water replenishment condition during a soil freeze thawing process can be achieved so as to simulate an outdoor environment, and provide technical supports for an indoor freeze thawing test.
