Instrumentos y Controles S.A (IYCSA) is a company that was born in 1971 to provide solutions through products and services in the areas of control, measurement and metrological assurance of equipment in the Oil & Gas sector mainly. Additionally, IYCSA is backed by different international companies that offer their equipment through the company. Some of these companies are Emerson Process Management in which it is worth highlighting products such as DeltaV, Micro Motion, Rosemount, Roxar and other lines such as Autronica, Dresser, Fluenta and Western Valve among others. The internships in the company are based on a training schedule in which the practitioner is given a knowledge of its institutional philosophy and the technical knowledge that will be required for the subsequent development of activities. Once the corporate induction is completed, different courses are carried out through the Emerson Process University educational platform; modules of pressure, level, flow and temperature mainly. Subsequently, specific training is carried out in the DeltaV control system through the following courses: - 7009 DeltaV Implementation. - 7018 DeltaV Hardware and Troubleshooting. - 7027 DeltaV Administration of operating systems. - 7032 Foundation Fieldbus systems and devices. The practitioner begins to develop increasingly demanding tasks as his knowledge and technical ability increases. The tasks assigned to the intern directly depend on the demand for services that the company has. In this case, you work in parallel with a senior engineer, supporting him on a specific project. Throughout the development of the work, the training is maintained and different courses are given mainly oriented to the management of the DeltaV control system.
