Auto stereoscopic content determination mechanism

The invention relates to an automatic three-dimensional (3D) content judging method, wherein a 3D intelligent display does not support an original 3D format type of an original 3D content. The method comprises the following step of: automatically reading one part of the original 3D content to obtain characteristics of the original 3D format type, wherein the part of the original 3D content can be or can not be a label, and the step of reading the part of the original 3D content can comprise the procedure of displaying a plurality of pictures of the 3D content. Preferably, the method also comprises the step of automatically detecting a display and a 3D display format type thereof. If no matching is found between the original 3D format type and the display format type, the original image content is deconstructed by using the method and is reconstructed to be of a 3D format type supported by the 3D display format type.
