The Service Pattern of Subject librarianin Small Research Library

Research libraries are facing great challenges posed by the fast development of digital information environment. Based on the practical work in small research library, this paper explored the service pattern of subject librarians. Chronologically, the exploring period of service pattern could be divided into four steps as following: preparation period, trial period, growing period and the future development.
